Update your Porsche PCM3.1 unit to the v4.76 which is the latest version available. 

 

How do I update my unit?

 

1. Download & Unzip the file
2. Burn the iso file to Dvd with ex. ImgBurn (free and easy to use)
3. Load the dvd into your car with PCM 3.1 and voila  (Update takes about 20 min so should have the car running)

To check what PCM version you have press "Source" and "Info" button at the same time.

 

Some units prior to 2012 will not update to v4.76

 

Prior to that date, units (in the UK) are designated "9612" (see the labels on the PCM chassis). They do not have any jukebox capability and use PCM firmware V3.xx (last was 3.40 or thereabouts, from memory). As has been said, these 9612 PCMs cannot take V4.xx firmware.

From November 2012 onwards PCM 3.1 for the UK was upgraded to "9633" specification. These later units are Juke Box compatible and use PCM firmware V4.xx. I think the last update was to version 4.76.
